The Instrument we supply are:

EMPATH - Electrical signature analyzer by framatome, us

Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA or MCSA) is the go-to technology for detecting various motor issues such as broken rotor bars, air-gap eccentricity, interturn shorts, and mechanical defects. By analyzing the current and voltage spectrum of motors in real time, ESA ensures timely detection and prevention of any potential problems. Trust this industry-standard technology to keep your motors running smoothly and efficiently.
The EMPATH system consists of a laptop computer with our exclusive signal conditioning board. Analysis software stores data and gives a readout of the time and frequency signatures. The signal conditioning board collects data on all three phases of voltage & current and provides MCSA-filtered signals. Also, two general-purpose input channels give the customer the option of collecting additional data simultaneously (such as vibrations, temperature, pressure, etc.).

ECMSTM – EMPATH Continuous monitoring system (ECMS–32 & ECMS-1) - by framatome, us

ECMS-32 hardware consists of a 32-channel multiplexer and signal conditioner. The inputs to ECMS-32 are provided by the E-Plug modules, which are permanently installed inside the Motor Control Centers (MCCs).

ECMS-E1 is single channel hardware, which includes a builtin E-Plug module. ECMS-E1 is designed to be permanently installed inside the MCCs.

ECMS systems automatically pulse motors at user-defined intervals, collect and analyze the data, and then store that data in various locations, including cloud servers. In cases where critical performance parameters are out of tolerance, ECMS will automatically flag those items and send notifications via SMS, emails and on-screen indications. The acceptances/tolerances can be set by the operator or automatically using statistics created by collected data.

E-Plug enhances motor analysis safety by framatome, us

Framatome’s E-Plug hardware permits the acquisition of motor electrical signature analysis data at a motor control center (MCC) — without opening the MCC door. The user simply attaches a connector to the door, while cable from the innovative E-Plug module passes voltage and current data from probes inside the MCC to the connector. The connector then mates with a cable that permits direct feed into EMPATH 2000, expediting electrical signature analysis.

PDetector by PMDT, San Jose CA

Advanced Handheld Partial Discharge Detector for Electric Power Equipment with Multi-Sensor and Cloud Diagnostic Technologies, Data Management Software, and Test Management App
The PDetector is an ideal device for On-Line Partial Discharge (OLPD) testing of MV and HV equipment which employs all 5 types of OLPD sensor technology: Ultra-High Frequency (UHF), Acoustic Emissions (AE), Ultrasonic, High Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT), and Transient Earth Voltage (TEV). The information from multiple sensors gives the PDetector the versatility to detect all types of PD in all types of substation apparatus. The exact type of PD activity can be determined effectively using multiple on-screen data spectrum analysis. The PDetector greatly simplifies and standardizes the routine OLPD testing procedure by using the Intelligent Patrol function, the PDetector App, and the PMDTCloud. It is a very powerful and helpful tool for substation operators to conduct routine testing in a substation quickly, to determine what the issue is, and where it is located.

PDStar by PMDT, San Jose CA

Superior Handheld Partial Discharge Detector for Electric Power Equipment with Thermal Imaging Camera, 100 MSPS HFCT Testing, A 4.3″ Touch Screen, Multi-Sensor and Cloud Diagnostic Technology, 3G/4G/WI-FI Communication, and Data Management Software
PMDT is proud to present one of our latest innovations, the PDStar. It integrates On-Line Partial Discharge (OLPD) testing and Infrared testing for MV and HV equipment, which combines UHF, AE, Ultrasonic, HFCT, TEV, and Infrared testing technologies. It is applicable for online PD testing, as well as abnormal heating and defect detection on all types of substation equipment. PD amplitude, PRPD, PRPS, and infrared spectrums provide critical data for determining the operational condition of electric power equipment. It connects to the PMDTCloud via Wi-Fi/3G/4G to upload test data, download test tasks, and receive diagnostic results in real time. Another uniquely advanced feature of the PDStar is that it integrates with a 100 MSPS (Mega-Samples per Second) HFCT signal processor, which greatly improves the performance for power cable OLPD testing.

PDiagnostic Series by PMDT, San Jose CA

The PDiagnostic is a portable system that utilizes Ultra-High Frequency (UHF), Acoustic Emissions (AE), High-Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT), and Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) sensors to detect, analyze, and locate the PD signals in real-time for a multitude of medium and high voltage electric power equipment.
The multi-channel PDiagnostic system locates PD on power equipment down to a meter by utilizing the Acoustic-Electromagnetic Combination Location Technique, Time Difference of Signals’ Arrival (TDOA), Partial Discharge Signals Separation (PDSS), and 3D Positioning Technology with PC software included.
The system features advanced PD diagnostic capabilities, automatic PD-type pattern recognition, and accurate PD location capabilities. The PDiagnostic is an ideal troubleshooting tool for your PD programs. Severity is determined and maintenance suggestions are provided accordingly.
